Help us to save our past
We are a group of enthusiasts and in the context of the DOJ, we created this year a "Circle Village History Spechbach-le-Haut".
One of our goals is to preserve the memory of our village and its transmission.
We are looking for photographs and old documents: including class pictures, conscripts, firefighters, associations, parties, old houses, scenes of everyday life, hitch and agricultural equipment, field work, old trades (masonry, carpentry, blacksmith, wheelwright and shopkeeper, lumberjack ...), old post cards, but also photos and documents about the releases, war damage, and any historical event connected with the village Spechbach-le-Haut.
We are also looking for old mortuary, those that were distributed in the environment and who kept in the missal, they include dates and a photo locket, this information will facilitate identification of individuals on other photos . As
old records (more than 60 years) we think of house plans or plots of land, old bills craftsman, school records or family genealogy, etc..
... anything that might have an interest the history of our village.
photographs and original documents are scanned and then returned to their owner.
